Enjoy a Mid-Week Break from the Usual Grind with These Three Country Crooners

There is nothing quite like enjoying country music during a mid-week break from work and home obligations. The Texas Crossroads concert series offers just that – a welcome musical respite from day-to-day monotony! On Wednesday, September 19th, the series continues with a powerhouse match-up featuring Luke Wade and Joey Green.

Once called the “Coldplay of soul,” Luke Wade is from Dublin, Texas, but now calls Fort Worth home. He helped put his city on the music map by being a contestant on NBC’s hit reality show, The Voice. With six albums under his belt, lifelong Texan Joey Green has become a household name in North Texas music circles. His rollercoaster style of music, a hodgepodge of country, soul and rock n’ roll, has earned him a reputation for being one of the area’s most exciting live acts. Austin newcomer Lukas Jakobsson will open the show. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter recently released his debut EP, The Two of Us.

The Texas Crossroads Series is presented by Performing Arts Fort Worth, in conjunction with Visit Fort Worth and Hear Fort Worth. The series spotlights local and regional singers and musicians and offers up-close and personal experiences, with the artists performing acoustic sets and sharing stories and anecdotes about their lives and music.

See all of these performers at once when you join in on the fun! Tickets to the Texas Crossroads Series start at $22. Free and paid parking is available nearby.

Although we provide the utmost luxury at The Depot Apartments in Fort Worth, Texas, we realize that you need to get out and socialize with those in your surrounding community. This event gives you the chance to do just that! Don’t hesitate to attend today!
